Our Rich History:
District 66 was established on July 1, 1961, evolving from 28 clubs previously within District 36. Our first District Governor, Jack Tallent of Norfolk, led the way. Today, our district proudly serves the majority of Virginia, from just south of Fredericksburg to the North Carolina border, and is home to over 70 thriving clubs. Some of our most enduring clubs have been fostering growth and development since the late 1940s and early 1950s.
