Everyone will be sent into breakout rooms by their Division so that members can work together to work through a sample case of using the Fishbone diagram to troubleshoot issues like these: - The club is not meeting DCP educational goals
- Low member engagement and meeting energy
- Guests attend but do not convert to members
- Pathways participation is inconsistent
The goal is to give you the keys take a problem statement, find the causes, and develop SMART goals to resolve the problem.

Bio Diane Windingland, DTM, is a communication coach, author, and longtime Toastmasters leader with 23 years of experience in the organization. She is the author of several books on communication and a contributing author to Healthy Clubs, published by Toastmasters International. Diane is a former District 6 Director and has served as Public Relations Manager four times across two districts. She is an active member of two clubs, a hybrid club in Minnesota and an in-person club in Texas, and lives in Spring, Texas, a suburb of Houston.

All day 03/31/2026 Program Dates: February 1 – March 31 Toastmasters love to connect, so take advantage of it. The Talk Up Toastmasters membership program is the chance to encourage your members to invite guests to a special meeting where prospective members can learn about Toastmasters’ many benefits. Then add five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between February 1 and March 31, and you’ll receive a special Talk up Toastmasters ribbon to display on your club’s banner. Qualifying clubs can also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.) Applications and payments for members with a join date between February 1 and March 31 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than March 31. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count towards Talk Up Toastmasters credit. The winning clubs will be revealed online within a few weeks of the submission deadline.
