    About The Session: 

    In this 90-minute, hands-on training, Toastmasters members will learn how to use Canva to confidently promote themselves and their clubs with clear, consistent, and compelling visuals, without needing design experience.

    Participants will explore Canva essentials such as Brand Kits, AI-powered Brand Voice tools, presentations, and marketing graphics, while learning to create polished content for meetings, events, social media, and personal branding. The focus is on simplicity, consistency, and action, so members leave ready to apply what they learn immediately.

    By the end of this session, members won’t just know Canva-they’ll know how to use it strategically to increase engagement, visibility, and impact.

    Instructor Bio: Michael J. Pope, Jr., DTM, began his Toastmasters journey in 2003 as a shy, hesitant speaker. Through Toastmasters, he became a confident communicator and leader, earning the Distinguished Toastmaster designation and developing a passion for helping others find their voice.
    Today, Michael is an international speaker, trainer, and coach who blends communication skills, leadership development,
    and practical technology, especially Canva, to help individuals and organizations increase clarity, confidence, and impact. As a Canvassado expert, he teaches speakers and leaders how to create presentations and promotional visuals that support their message and elevate their credibility without overwhelming them.
