How to Get Started

  1. Speak with current and past Division Directors and Trio members about their experiences.
  2. Review the official Toastmasters International District Leadership Handbook to understand the responsibilities and expectations.
  3. Review the Call for Nominations and District Leader Competencies information pages.
  4. Reflect on your accomplishments and how your skills align with the district’s needs.
  5. Submit your District Leader Nominating Form to the District Leadership Committee Chair (DLC), IPDD D29, DTM Paula Green at pegreen@verizon.net, no later than January 15, 2026. The deadline has been extended to January 31, 2026.
