Online Meeting
This post serves as notice to all District Council Committee members (current club Presidents and Vice Presidents Education, as well as current voting members of the District Executive Committee) of the Annual District Council Committee meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET, please join the Zoom meeting at 6:45 PM.
The purpose of the meeting is to conduct district business, including voting for the 2025-2026 District Leadership (Candidates Corner). Electronic voting will be conducted during the meeting. Registration is required to form a quorum and vote on district business.
District Council members must register by April 20, 2025, for the April 24 meeting. Your registration as a club officer counts toward the quorum. DEC members can carry up to three (3) votes.

Please Note: Any officer who has not paid their dues or their club is not in good standing will be ineligible to vote.

Voting
On April 22, 2025, council members who have registered for the meeting will receive an email from District 66 Director, Jim Kennedy, DTM, that will alert you to the voting instructions and your credentials.
The District will use Election Runner to manage the voting process. Election Runner will send an email with a link to validate your voter identifier and voter key. Please SAVE THE LINK in that email! You will need it on April 24 to vote in the election.
The emails will be sent to the email address that is on record at Toastmasters International. If you wish to use a different email for these notifications (i.e., a personal email address instead of your work email address), please contact Linda Kennedy immediately so that she can adjust it in the mailing list for this very important notification!
Each member of the District Council Committee in attendance at a virtual Council Meeting is entitled to two votes if they are a president or vice president education in more than one club. Each District Council Committee member must cast their own vote. District Executive Committee members are entitled to three votes if they are a club president or vice president education in more than one club. When the voting process is conducted virtually, no proxies are permitted.
